Asia
Daggs is a junior at Texas State University seeking a bachelor’s degree in
Public Relations. As a student in San Marcos, Asia traveled a few hours from her
hometown of Angleton, Texas. She grew up in Angleton alongside her brother and
two sisters. The day she graduated high school was the best day of her life; she
is now the first generation college student in her family.
Asia
volunteers at San Marcos’ local radio station, KTSW, providing them with top
notch web content. She enjoys her time spent there and says, “KTSW is fun and
rewarding place to work, it is preparing me for my future career plan.” When
she graduates she ideally would like to start out working for a public
relations firm and eventually open and run her own PR firm.
When
she’s not busy with her studies Asia enjoys reading, writing, music, and
photography! She takes advantage of the retail shops and touristy charm of the
Square downtown San Marcos any chance she gets. “I love being in San Marcos
because of all the cool shops and friendly people,” Asia expresses.
