Video cameras always captures the eye of the beholder, and for Dominique Hutchinson, 24, it did just that. Filming has been a big fascination for Dominique ever since she got her hands on a camera. Any chance she gets to record something she prevails and with great care. “Overall, I love video cameras, so much that I actually learn all of the specs to certain brands. It’s important to make whatever you’re filming look good.”

Dominique is from New Orleans,
Louisiana, and moved to Austin after Hurricane Katrina struck. After moving to California,
and completing one year of college in Los Angeles, Dominique moved back to
Texas and enrolled at Texas State University where she majors in Mass
Communication of Electronic Media with a minor in Spanish as a junior. She
chose to pursue Mass Communication because of her compelling power to
manipulate people’s emotion through the art of filmography and other media. “I
love to be able to control what the viewer can see. In a way, you are
controlling their emotions and how the director wants them to react to a
certain situation.” You can view some of her videos on her YouTube page.
