Meet the girl inside the Wolfe

By Asia Daggs

Heather Wolfe is a 23-year-old senior here at Texas State; she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. Her and her family currently live in New Braunfels and her younger brother just so happens to be a Texas State Bobcat as well. She blames her hometown for her love of outdoorsy activities such as swimming and kayaking. This past summer she and her friend did a spur of the moment trip to study abroad; they were able to visit London, France, Dublin and Italy. However, she said that Thailand is still on her bucket list.

Heather enjoys all genres of music, but her favorite artists are Fleetwood Mac and Hozier. She is working as a nanny and said she absolutely loves it! One of her most embarrassing moments happens to be at a San Francisco Giants game where she was hit in the face with a baseball when she was ten years old. “After it happened, I was allowed to keep the ball and walk down on the field,” Wolfe said. “It was worth it.”

Wolfe plans on working for her favorite sports team’s public relations department after she graduates this May. “I have always been a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs and working for them would be a dream come true.”
